Fifty years of Sea Road, Boscombe Spa. Pic 1 - The Beachcomber, a seaside restaurant for a different era. Candyfloss and Formica. Thermos flasks and Ford Cortinas. Next door, a Beach Gift Shop and Coach Tours office. Pic 2 - Parade of elephants making their way down toward the sea to cool off, straight from Billy Smart’s Circus at Boscombe Hippodrome (now the @o2academybmouth).
